1. What is the Playground?

The Playground page allows you to role-play as a contact, and test your Agent's abilities. In this live simulation environment, you can:

  • Manually trigger Campaign actions

  • Switch between different Agent personalities

  • Test qualification logic

  • See how objections are handled

  • Test scheduling logic

  • Provide feedback to Agent responses

2. Page Elements

A) Select Campaign

Choose from one of the Campaigns you've created- identified by their name, Engine type, and Description.

B) Select Agent

Choose from one of the Agent personalities you're created- distinguished by their name, description, and tone settings.

This is a great feature, allowing you to try out different Agents for the same Campaign for A/B-style testing.

C) Playground Chat

Live chat window to engage in conversation with your selected Agent. Your Agent will respond based on:

  • Campaign logic

  • Memory Hub

  • Conversation context

  • Personality configuration

Note: When selecting a new Campaign, previous chat history will be wiped.

D) Actions

Select the "+ Actions" button to pull a dropdown of all available Campaign actions including: Intro Message, Follow-Up Messages, Final Message.

E) Contact Details

This panel shows the Contact you are roleplaying, including all applicable system and custom fields. You can manually edit these fields, or watch your Agent update them in real time throughout your conversation.

3. Common Testing Strategies

A) Business-Specific Questions

Ask your Agent questions that specifically reference an entry from your Memory Hub. Confirm that your Agent correctly retrieves the information it needs.

B) Objections and Rebuttals

Your Agent can detect an objection, and reference the correct rebuttal if you've added it in your Memory Hub.

C) Natural Scheduling

Test your Agent with conversational scheduling. Your Agent should follow the specified business hours, and reference any calendars you've paired with your campaign, and ensure there are no conflicts.

4. Next Steps

We hope your Agents impress you during testing! Now you're ready to deploy them in the real-world.

  • Complete your Twilio Registration

  • Connect your channels (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.)

  • Upload/Connect your Contacts to a Campaign.
