1. What is an Agent?
An Agent in Myna is an AI employee that works for your business. Myna allows you to personify your Agent and customize their tone- so they speak and behave like part of your brand. You can explore different personifications, and eventually have a roster of AI employees that will be assigned to your Campaigns and manage tasks.
2. Navigating the Page
A) On the Agents page, click on "+ Add Agent"
B) View your existing Agents on this Panel
C) Editing on this Panel
3. Enter the Agent's Basic Info
A) Starting in the "Basic Info" tab, Enter the Agent's Name
This is the name the Agent will use when referring to itself. Choose any name you want — some businesses use a made-up persona, while others use real staff names!
Optionally, you can dive deeper into Agent personification by entering the following details.
B) Role
This is the Agent’s role or position within your company. It helps personify who they are inside your organization.
C) Age
This is your Agent's age in years.
D) Gender
You can enter Male, Female, or neither.
E) What's this Agent's goal?
Describe the Agent’s purpose or mission. This is not an operational or campaign goal — it’s purely for characterization, like a personal mission statement.
F) What’s this Agent’s expertise?
List their professional skills, background, and specializations — similar to a real employee’s resume.
G) Interests
Include personal interests, hobbies, or fun details that give the Agent personality.
H) Location
Where this Agent is based!
4. Configure the Agent's Style and Tone
A) Trait Sliders
One of Myna's unique features is its way of configuring your Agent's style and tone. Myna’s trait sliders make it easy to shape the way your Agent speaks with simple, powerful controls. Each slider adjusts a specific communication trait and is backed by our rich prompt library — so you don’t need to write anything manually. Just choose the levels that fit the persona you are trying to achieve. Each slider is labeled, with descriptions, making it easy to understand exactly what you’re adjusting.
Eventually, you can create multiple persona variations, try them in the Playground, and do A/B testing with your campaigns. Have fun with it!

B) Custom Personality Override
If you already have a detailed character prompt you want the Agent to follow, you can enable Custom Personality. This fully replaces the tone sliders.
⚠️ Your Agent’s personality will only be as strong and consistent as the prompt you provide. Our built-in tone system is usually more reliable.
5. Advanced Settings
This tab explores additional speech settings - further polishing your Agent's persona.
A) Spelling Errors
Adds occasional, natural-looking spelling mistakes at random intervals to mimic human typing.
B) Punctuation
Controls how precise or relaxed your Agent’s punctuation is. Useful for preventing over-punctuation common in LLM-based responses (options: None, Minimal, Normal, Precise).
C) Slang Words
Allows the Agent to occasionally use slang, shortcuts, or casual lingo to sound more conversational.
D) Emoji Use
Moderates how frequently the Agent uses emojis, since LLMs tend to overuse them (options: None, Minimal, Sometimes, Often).
E) Response Length
Controls how brief or verbose your Agent should be — short and concise (good for texting), or more detailed (good for emails).
6. Next Steps
Agent personas are a powerful foundation for your conversational campaigns. Once your Agent is created and configured, you’re ready to move to the next step: building a Campaign. This is where your Agent’s personality, tone, and knowledge will come together to handle real conversations.
